Kunha, Naval Cadet Sampan. Personal Interview. 31 October 2007.
Captain Praorn Suntornwipart, the leader of the statistics and
Research Division, took hockey to the RTNA. Captain Praorn is a member
of the Hockey Association of Thailand. The RTNA hockey club was
established in 1997, which is 10 years ago. The purpose is for the
naval
cadets who are interested in hockey to know about hockey and how to
play hockey. The RTNA hockey club sends team to competitions every
year, such as the indoor hockey championship, Navy sports week [Navy
Games],
Thailand field hockey championship and the RTNA and Kasetsart
University traditional sports [Seaman-Farmer Games].
The RTNA hockey
club wins many prizes
every year.
The RTNA hockey club will practice and prepare the
teams for 2 months before the competitions. We practice and train
tactics after classes are over. Moreover, the RTNA hockey club
practices at the weekends at Klong 6, Patumtani, and on Thursdays we go
out to practice at Kasetsart University every week.
