Royal Thai Officer Cadet Regiment Homepage is switched on already.

Royal Thai Naval Officer Cadet Regement (RTNOCR) homepage is officially switched on already. However some of its contents are still underconstructed and please accept apologies from the webmaster team. The homepage still needs plenty of the readers inputs and if you have any suggestions please do not hesitate to contact us by either leaves messages on the visiting book or using email. And we will try to do as many as we are requested.

Universities rugby league, Division 1.

RTNA send a rugby team to compete in the universities rugby league, division 1. The competition was completed and the OC team finished the 6th place. The team won against Chulalongkorn University, the unbeaten team for 20 years, drew against Srinakarintarawiroj University, and closely lost the remaining 4 games. "The results are not as what we have hoped for but things can be happen in the game of rugby. We faced with many problems, such as, players shortage due to injury and have to be under training elsewhere. Most of the team player consisted of the newly trained 1st and 2nd year OCs." According to Lt.Surat Wongprakong, the head coach.

The 1st Term OCs' Final Examination

The 1st - 4th OCs were undergone the 1st academic term, final examination during 23 - 30 September. Although they completed the final examination, the results will not be announced soon as the academic results still has to count upon the practical naval training which it is run during 1 - 30 August 2004. The seniority within the class will be measured by the summation of academic grades and the practical results.

Training News, The 3rd year OC trains the ship diver.

The 3rd year OCs had been prepared for the hardship of the underwater operation diver (UOD) course (equivalent to the ship diver of RN) at the naval special force HQ, Pra island, Sattahip Naval Base during 1 - 30 August 2004. After completing the UOD course, the OCs can transfer knowledge to the advance open water diver, PADI. The naval special force run many courses over the years including the SEAL team ( those who completed the course will receive the badge of two sharks surfing over the wave and the thai national flag) and the Underwater Ammunition and Explosive team ( those who completed the course will receive the badge of an octopus tie with a diver helmet and ammunitions).

Sport News, The OCs' Yacht racing team ruled the wave in Hua Hin Regatta 2004.

RTNA send a sailing team participated in Hua Hin Regatta 2004, Hua Hin, Prachobkerekan during 30th of July - 3rd of September 2004. The team composed of a yacht racing team and 3 individuals competed in the dinghy races. The yacht racing team came 1st in the long distance race received the royal price, Replica of Vega rudder. However for the short courses race, the yacht team disappointingly reached only the 6th place after gusty wind nearly destroyed the spinniker. For dinghy races, Lt.Jg. reached the 2nd place overall in the short-course races.

Training News, The 5th year completed the long distance voyage.

The 5th year OCs training squadron nearly completed the long distance training voyage. They call upon port of Pus an Korea, Vladivostok Russia, Okinawa Japan, Manila Philippine and Singapore. The voyage run every year as the final training trip before they are commissioned.

Training News 1st - 4th year OCs Undergone Midyear Training Session. OCs of four classes undergone mid-year training session during 1 -30 September 2004. These training's run every year to prepare the naval knowledge for the OCs in every aspects of the navy life.

1st year OCs trained the basic infantry formation and the platoon commander at Royal Thai Marines HQ, Sattahip Naval Base.

2nd year OCs trained the firefighting and damage control at the Training Squadron, Sattahip Naval Base, and the first aid at RTNA.

3rd year OCs trained the underwater operation diver course at the naval special force HQ, Sattahip Naval Base.

4th year OCs trained the leadership, the advance seamanship and the advance navigation at the RTNA.
